I just came second in a game, scoring only 20 points less than the winner and 80 points more than the next guy (Ranier - a good and polite player) but he was placed second, and I got no points - Why?

How long did you play in that game? If you don't play long enough they don't give you any points, even if you are the high scorer. It's one of the newer rules. Maybe that's not the reason but that does happen a lot here.

I had played more of a percentage than the other players, the one that came 2nd have bought extra chips after he lost his first lot.
